Dr. Esam Beshay
Professional Dentist
Dr. Esam Beshay graduated from Alexandria University in Egypt with a degree in dentistry in 1998. He was in dental practice and owned and managed his dental practice in Egypt for twelve years until he came to Canada in 2010. He successfully challenged the NDEB examinations which he completed in December 2012 and was subsequently licensed to practice dentistry in Canada in January 2013. He is a full member of the Manitoba Dental Association and the Winnipeg Dental Society.
He has since practiced as an associate at Bright Side Dental Office in Portage La Prairie Manitoba and at Westwood Dental Office in Thompson, also in Manitoba.
Dr. Beshay bought Dr. Colm Hayes’ practice in February 2014 when Dr. Hayes retired from practice, and he opened officially for business as Dr. Beshay Dental Office at the beginning of March 2014. Dr. Beshay is the new owner of My family Dentist as of January 15, 2018.
Dr. Maria Farag

Dr. Maria Farag pursued her childhood dream of becoming a Dentist in Dublin, Ireland, where she graduated from the Dental program from Trinity College in 2019. Born in Egypt and raised in Manitoba, Dr. Maria speaks English and Arabic fluently. She loves all aspects of dentistry and is great at making her patients feel at ease. Her energizing personality and smile help patients feel comfortable, whether young or old. She is an eager learner and wants to grow in her dental knowledge, skills and stay up to date with the newest developments.
